Carmel market on Horizon202 and the Kosmofoto Agent Shadow film.

Evening everybody (or every other part of your day). On my way to finish this logical end of the posting of the images from my first day of using this wonderful (for me) camera, I managed to put between 5 posts on absolutely different subjects, some of the stories waited long 8 years to be selected, edited, and finally posted. Check the story from “Ethiopian Village Dansheha”. Additionally, check this “No theme” post

Now it’s evening here. I’m sitting after the hysterical pressure of the working day, writing this text and fighting with the attacking mosquitos. There is no option to make some kinda Putin-Prigozhin deal between the sides, one (or many) of us will die. Hopefully not me. I can’t get how they enter my apartments. Every window is closed with the mosquito net, and these days I close the Entrance door so quickly, almost faster than I am able to enter the apartment. This year I’m willing to call it the year of Mosquitoes. They are everywhere. In the mornings I’m afraid to go out to water the plants growing in tubs in the garden in front of the entrance The mosquitos just sit there and wait for the food, like customers in restaurants.

Well, these mosquitoes, despite everything, are not the most terrible current events that happened recently. The aforementioned attempt of a “military coup” ended in nothing, Underwater tin can controlled by a joystick from a PlayStation, and my favorite film camera, which stopped working. In recent months, i exposed 2 rolls with this Ricoh GR1s, developed them with a new for me Pyro 510 developer and got absolutely transparent and clean of images celluloid strips. Initially, I put all the blame on the developer, or mistakenly made wrong dilution, but twice? Yesterday I checked the camera without film and found that the shutter located inside the lens just stuck. Recently the flash of this camera stopped firing, and i somehow reconciled with the idea that i can’t use it at night anymore, but seems like these both failures have common roots.

The images of this post are the final frames of the first roll of Kosmofoto Agent Shadow film exposed with Horizon 202 panoramic camera. Check my “first post” including some info about this fil and the camera, if you missed it and are still interested to get some more technical information.

      1. I understand what you mean. The hype around some of these things is sort of crazy.

Not to direct the conversation back to me, but I did do some double exposure stuff this past weekend. I’ll post it soonish; but I wasn’t too keen on my results. I think I need more creative subjects 😀
