Jerusalem walk with Ricoh GR1s film camera – part ii
i feel very high excitement when i use only film camera and have no idea if i will get something visible on celluloid after the development process. because of mistake with chemicals or because of damaged roll that has not been stored in the proper conditions before i got it to my hands. film camera is like black box for me up to the moment when i can see the wet result developed and hung to dry. it’s just me or you also know what i’m talking about ?
anyway – as i said in “the first part” – i used Ricoh GR1s film camera with preloaded Kodak 400TX film. developed 12 min in R09 one touch (copy of Rodinal??) developer and fixed 7min with Agfa FIX-Ag. i use Epson V500 scanner and Lightroom for the very light editing of the images.
enjoy the atmosphere of Jerusalem:

Thank you…
there is so much dynamic in the photos … how fast is the auto focus?
yes – i loved and wanted to express this dynamics of the city with these images. it very fast – i tried to shoot some rock show with the flash enabled for the vintage look plus it was too much dark – http://www.victorbezrukov.com/the-great-machine-hard-core-party-taken-on-film/
So full of life! Wonderful captures. Some are just like if they were taken from a movie… Especially the second 🙂
thank you very much !
My pleasure 🙂
Wonderful series again. I love them all You have made the city come alive for me…wanna go there even. You are so good at composition and filling the frame. But mostly at giving us a chance to feel, smell and see. Super stuff.
