people of Jerusalem photographed with Fujifilm GA645 on ilford FP4

today my post is about people. people of Jerusalem, photographed with film camera that i bought with idea to take mostly portraits – outdoor and indoor, in color and in B&W, but i still have some strange for me issues to take a portraits on film. these issues are about to do something wrong during the film developing process and to washout the results or to get some damaged structure of emulsion. it’s happened a few time to me when i studied the film developing process because of different reasons but i still in doubts every time when i open the developing tank and check the first frame of roll for the results and quality.

but as you will see in the follow-up this text photos, everything turned out well, without cracked emulsion and empty celluloid. my next roll loaded to Fujifilm GA645 will be about the only people – strangers and friends. mostly with approaching, eyes contact and attitude.

this ilford FP4 exposed with the box speed and semi-stand developed in R09 Shot b&w film developer.

stay tuned !!

  1. Oh yes, the thrill with important (for me) photos when I open the developing tank….. only had one single roll that did not work out out of nearly 200 until now.

0,5% of failure… I can live with that
