the land of colors – Ethiopia
photographs in color is not my usual way to tell the story. but sometimes the color is an integral part of the seen and it would be a crime not to show the beauty of the rainbow. i did the same when went in last september back from Barcelona and last winter after celebrating Hag Hahagim in Wadi Nisnas.
the first place that represent and put attention to the colors is national Ethiopian flag. “the green recalls the land, yellow stands for peace and hope, and red is symbolic of strength”. (from Wiki).
the colors of the old but looks very fresh walls of the one floor houses builded along roadsides. the blue tuktuks, yellow-red-green-blue taxi and private cars. all available colors of umbrellas very popular in every time of day. not dull, very colorful clothes of women. t-shirts with all the football emblemas of the most popular football clubs on kids and teenagers.

Stunning photography and standout colors! I’m a black and white fanatic, but you make me want to shoot color!
Same with me – bw is much closer for me when i want to express. But felt like crime to convert all thes3 colors. Anyway bw post are on the way very soon ;-))
