As a logical pause for my reality “shows” I’m not here. This isn’t happening. and My world is shaking (part ii)., today is something relaxing about the recent visit of our friends family living in the kibbutz somewhere in Southern area of the country. “Somewhere” is just 130 km to the south from my living place and 30km from the dangerous area affected by a terrorist army attack a month ago. Right now when i write these words, rocket attacks began on the center of the country, I hear these deep booms even 20 km from the shelling zone. I wrote “month ago” and stopped my fingers. Already month of the craziness. Some people say this is just the beginning, some are more positive. My based on no experience opinion is varies daily.

Back to today’s photo story. We decided to visit our friends and to spend some weekend time in their nice garden. It was very nice, less hot, but still very sunny day, with all the accessories for the total relaxation, but it never happened, despite the amount of pizza, beer and Arak. This day IDF has set a 3-hours deadline for Gazans to leave the area – from 13:00 until 16:00. “This initiative is part of the Israeli military’s three-week-long campaign aimed at encouraging residents to evacuate southward, and to free the fortified by Hamas zone for the deadly fights between both armies.” (taken from the International media site). Exactly at 16:00 Hamas attacked attack on peaceful cities in central of Israel with their missiles. This time right before our eyes just from the east position. Well, nothing can destroy tasty homemade pizza prepared by Hofit 🙂

  1. It’s a horrible situation. I hope things get better soon, especially for those who have had to evacuate their homes in the North as well as near Gaza. And still the rockets are fired into Israel! Stay safe.

    1. Thank you Stuart. These people now out of their living places, their comfort zones and additionally cant work in their gardens and fields. As well like Gaza citizens forced to leave their homes due to the Hamas outrage and the silent support of the UN and many european countries. I hope that some ppl will open their eyes and understand that the money they paid, the criminals took for weapons without any control of the money giving organizations.

  2. Seeing your posts now has an additional meaning, Victor: it means you’ve survived another day… or series of days.

Nothing beats pizza made like that. It looks fantastic. And, hopefully, was a bit of life from before a month ago (I, too, have a hard time believing it’s already been a month).

    Cheers, Mate.

  3. It’s wonderful sets and glad that you’ve had some quality time with your friends while Israel were at “Tensions and fears…uncertain. “

  4. Wonderful series, Victor… I guess life could be so easy and good for Israelis and Palestinians without the Hamas terrorists and the radical politicians, and with homemade Pizza 🍕😋

    1. Exactly like the world should be. But you know that Hamas got the money and education from Iran. So it was strong “inspiration” and pressure from outside and no checks from the 13000 UN members existing in Gaza territory.
Pizza and beer for peace 😉
