X-Ray is justified – Hasselblad with Bergger Pancro400 film again
evening ! some time ago i posted this half sad, half angry post about “damaged by X-Ray” Bergger Pancro400 that i exposed with Hasselblad and for the first time ever i got these strange results – may be the only first frame that you can see in this post, turned out well but all the rest – damaged. some of you wrote in comments and in Twitter comments that this effect of the damage looks very well and create some interesting vintage mood. agree about the mood but i really really wanted to get something more clean. anyway – by recommendations of some of you, i replaced the Hasselblad film back and here we are – everything is clean and crispy. probably you already read the posted results of another Bergger Pancro400 that also survived the Barcelona airport check X-Ray machine taken with “Fuji GA645 in Munich” in my previous posts.
and a technical info (the boring part :-))) ) – Hasselblad 500cm and “Distagon 40mm f/4 CF” film developing – i used Bergger ber49 developer. 1+1 dilution – 16:15 min – 24 deg C.
ok – enough words, go to photographs !
thank you for taking a look and welcome to visit here again !
Victor at his best! Very well done my friend!
thank you Jurgen ! next will be Bergger 35mm film also looks very good and contrasty 😉
I have some in my fridge… Must take one out and put it into my camera…. Maybe the next “A Frame Per Day” film… 🙂
waiting and will check them so !
Interesting, and love the tone and the woman and dog is my fav.
thank you Paula 😉
Wonderful work, Victor. I especially like your reflections because it’s like seeing two images in one — the subject, and everything else that was happening around it at that moment.
thank you Heide ! the reflections are also special for me because of the feeling of multi exposure or two images in one as you said !
