Time to move forward with the next series of images. My previous series was about how we almost got poisoned by Tej (the Ethiopian honey wine) in one of the night “clubs” we visited every night of our trip.

So, after the sleepless night and very long breakfast with many cups of tea we started our walk to the central marked located not too far from the AG hotel where we stayed. The way to the market passed through the crowded center with very high and mixed traffic in different and not too managed directions. The “drivers” were usual to survive in this kind of sporadic movement and they used their vehicle’s sound signals without stop – it sounded like an uninterrupted buzz, but in fact they just use these sounds to say something like “hello i’m here” without angry meaning and that’s cool.

All images of this series taken with Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art lens.

enjoy the walks and be careful on the road !!

  1. Great pics from a place we don’t see a lot of! You return often. I reckon you have some business there? No need to digress if you don’t want. Anyway I’m glad someone like you is bringing back images of real life from this (to me) mysterious land. And oh yes my friend, I wish you and your family Happy Holidays!
