Fomapan 400 exposed with medium format Holga camera part XI.

I’m doing this stuff already for 4 years. I fell in love with this cooperation of the three components – plastic Holga medium format camera, Fomapan 400 black, and white film, and semi-stand developing process in the Rodinal developer. Actually, four constituents, working in cooperation and made this great nostalgic mood and the grainy look, that is an integral part of the film photography in the whole term.

From the first frame of this combination that I tried first time in far 2017, I started to experiment with multiple exposures, which are very simple with this camera, that is primitive like a stone, but from another side, you can be very creative without limits of auto ISO recognition by DX code, or auto rewinding after every click. And semi-stand long and natural diffusion of the chemical process helps to save the frames if you are overexposed or underexposed too much. Well, it helps but doesn’t be too inaccurate – Holga is still very limited and the shutter gives you about 1/100th of a second and has essentially two apertures, f/11 for sunny days and f/8 for cloudy days. All these numbers are very not strict. The triangle you can fix with the free ISO that is open for the creative mind.

Below is my roll number XI.
