Fomapan 400 with Holga – plastic medium format camera – part v
I was stuck today with a thoughts – what will be my next post about. Some time ago i started a few personal projects or just themes i shooting these days for, i still have many images from my “trip to Ethiopia” and the second part of the “Silberra Pan160” exposed with Horizon 202 in Jerusalem. After some hesitates i decided to show you the 6th roll of the Fomapan 400 expired film that i post with the name V – i just jumped over the real fifth roll shooted and developed some time ago, i will post it in a few weeks. The next Fomapan roll with more multi exposures already inside of Holga and even half exposed – so my posting my business just gets complicated and soon i will have even more doubts what to post firstly.
I love to work on multi exposures with Holga. The technical part is very simple – just don’t rewind to the next frame after clicking, but the creative part is the real fun of this process – to decide what and how to put to the first and the second layer or to leave the first to stay alone, or to go for more than 2. The most complicated part is to remember what the last click was if i have a few days between frame exposing. I think i should start a writing down a notes in notebook, so this really can help me do not get confused with the content of the frames.
A few words about chemicals and the process i used for this roll. As i said, this Fomapan is expired – the date of expiration say January 2016 – not too long period but in the story was said that they not sure about storing condition of this film, still the price was great to take a small risk. I processed this roll in R09 Studio developer using semi-stand process.
This time i got the only 6 interesting frames – take your look !
So different, I love it.

I love the ethereal, unreal quality of those shots. Like a pinhole camera….
