Formula 1 in Jerusalem in pictures
Hello there !
You can believe or not, but Formula 1 in Jerusalem – two days show very close to the ancient walls of the Old City. What the walls can say about ? They experienced the Byzantine Empire, Capture by Herod, Ottoman Empire, Crusaders period, British Mandate and a few other regimes. I guess that screeching engines and the smell of burnt tires of Formula 1 is not a big deal
I’m not a huge fan of the big companies of people and heavy traffic jams of these situations, but i decided to visit the Formula 1 show not with the goal to see the cars, but to shoot the PEOPLE, so If you came here to see the fast vehicles – this is the right time to change your intention.
Personally, for me, the people are more interesting and curious object.
The yearly morning in Jerusalem is something special-a bit cold air, empty light train to the center of the city and a big cup of coffee in still empty coffee place very close to the Formula 1 show location. The real activity started late and i had time to drink more coffee and even to find the REAL 5 MILES coin from the year 1941 at the old city market – was worth every minute and every shekel
