free your lens – an experimental project with Asahi 50mm m42 lens ii
it’s more than me – i can repeat this phrase many times. freelensing is such freestyle and free fall – even open for a dust sensor can’t stop me. right now i’m looking for more wide angle lens to continue my experiments – something like 28 or 35mm of the same M42 screw mount. i found many on eBay for a very nice price and in good condition even very old.
about this collection. i took these images during 2-3 months. different subjects and different light conditions. on the first picture my brother – my alltime wonderful model. the last image was taken last weekend near Ramat Gan exchange complex. when i finished i returned back to my car, a security guard came up to me and asked about the reason of taking images of this building. i said – that Art is a reason. (i find myself in situation when explain about freelensing technique will be absolutely superfluous) he asked me to delete all the images taken there. i said him that this sounds too stupid because i can map this building with a zoom lens from far and no one will pay attention. he was adamant and too excited and i deleted the last image but this one is left and happy with the result.
enjoy the moments and you’re welcome to ask me everything about this technique
thank you ! feel free to visit my previous posts please…
