Jerusalem walk with Ricoh GR1s film camera – part iii
this is the right time to finish the publication of the images taken during my walk in Jerusalem and exposed with Ricoh GR1s camera on a Kodak TX400 film. In the most frames of this walk i was interested in people and how dynamic their coexistence in this very mixed and special city.
for the curious and first time visiters – the first part and the second part.
enjoy the atmosphere of Jerusalem:

Thank you…
I may repeat myself, Victor, but it is always a real great pleasure to look at your stories telling photographs. You are one of my greatest inspirations. Thank you for sharing!
due to the WordPress last issues (problems??) i can’t reply from the wordpress application anymore. very sad that some of features are going back and not forward.
i may repeat myself with the HUGE thank you my friend for all the kind words !
You are most welcome, Victor!
That’s strange… An hour ago I was able to answer a comment from the App and now I can’t… Seems WordPress got problems again…
i can “like” others comments on my posts but can’t approve or reply. but i can comment to the wordpress.com
something with integration between wordpress.com and wordpress.org – i find myself unable to replay during two or three weeks after one of fashinable updates of mobile application – the connection crashed and “like” button on my posts just stopped to work. i had a chat with the support of WP – they said to disconnect my site and to connect again – nothing helped. so i deleted all the cache and details from the mobile app and it started to work. just for a few comments and crashed again. i hate these situations when i can’t rely on something
I love these Victor. Such a pleasure to see interesting images of a place that I still love even though I haven’t visited for 25 years. It makes me want to come back. Funny because the few images I have of my time in Jerusalem were shot on Tmax 400. Thanks for these I will now look at parts 1 and 2. I must come back more often. Thanks for taking a look at my blog too. M
great to know that you visited my country long time ago and still remember ! thank you for taking a look and welcome to visit again !
Another fabulous series making the city come alive , with people, dust , sound , light, smells and everything else!
thank you Paula !
Victor, nice to see your work with the GR1s! Great photo-documentary photographs, as always.
Thank you Sam for taking a look. I developed last week the Fomapan 200 exposed in Barcelona with Horizon 202 a few months ago. Looks panoramic and distorted like hell 😉
Hi Victor, I almost got a Horizon 202 a few years back, but the images I saw were way distorted for my tastes! I ended up with a X-Pan. However, even though the Horizon wasn’t for my style, I’d love to check out your pics with it! Send me a link if you have posted them, thanks!
You’re right sometimes the results are too distorted. I really can prefer the Hassey but the price is too high. May be one day 😉
I got a good deal on a beat-up, but optically sound X-Pan, so the price was under $1000. The camera and lens are every bit as good as they say. Hopefully, I’ll have a review up in the upcoming weeks. The Horizon I imagine could be used well for some niche images, special events, but not for every day panoramic work. Use it as a specialized camera which is what it is! 🙂
Indeed ! Some urbanity moments also look good wuth this kind of distortion but absolutely not everything
