Olive Festival in Daliyat al-Carmel
it was very nice excursion with the spontaneous group of non-photographers. don’t understand me wrong – it’s impossible today to walk with a group of people and not to see some camera. so, also this day almost everyone used to take selfie, portrait of related or just of the beautiful view, but unlike a group of photographers my frame was always empty of other cameras or i just decided to include one.
enjoy the moment of the fest :

Thank you…
Another interesting insight into the life of your home. Just so you succeeded in a very lively series. But these images need to be seen in context. I know it is sometimes difficult to select individual pictures are to represent an event.
Hi ! thank you for your comments ! you’re right – nothing to do with every specific image but only altogether possible to see the story. i hope that there is a story in this series.
The woman with balloons, great pic!
thank you Cristian.
All are wonderful,, but I loved tarbuka playing , a guy taking a selfie, and the last one best of all !
Thank you Lena !!
Great festival ! The pictures are so exciting that I am excited !!! A secret about me — I could eat every olive in that first picture ! Olives are a weakness of mine terribly ! Also, cute curly haired boy taking a pic is probably better than me !! I love the guy with the goofy hat taking a selfie as LENA said ! Are those drums they are playing ? I think I have seen them . I love the little boy catching a wheelie on the bike! Wonderful pictures, festival, smiles, it was as though you were an invisible man with camera taking great shots! They have festivals all the time !
i’m invisible for sure 🙂
thank you Irena !
these “drums” are real and where in this place for learning process of everyone who wanted to learn play on. Olives is my weakness and this year i even prepared Olives with lemons and garlic at home.
Victor – sounds like so much fun ! You must send me recipe for the olives and what type of olives you used !! Yummy ! I would loved to do the olives for the holidays ! Facebook or email me if you wish . We do not want to take away from your pictures ! Glad you had fun ! Be well and safe …
Excellent set Victor, I especially like the kid on the bike…great timing on that shot!
I was already ready for something different and suddenly he brought me this !
