walking with Hasselblad – last day in Gondar, Ethiopia

during this trip to Ethiopia, I was equipped with two cameras – my everyday Canon MkII and Medium format Hasselblad film camera. mostly i “shot with digital”, but when i had time to walk alone and to be slow enough, i felt very comfortable with the film camera. this roll was exposed during my last day in Gondar. in a few frames i placed the sun into the frame because was very difficult to avoid this with the wide angle Planar 40/4 lens. it was my first experience to develop in R09 One Shot Agfa Rodinal (by Compard ??) so i used the manufacturer charts.

enjoy the frames :

  1. I love the shots and the wide angle and what the sun flare does to some frames. And you got the right moments for sure.

  2. 🙂 yeah the lens is so wide that it’s sometimes not easy to frame but it gives interesting views … and it seems just the best idea with the waist level finder to look for the low POV ….

    1. yes i can do it also without taking pictures. i get hypnotized by this 3dimensional beauty 🙂

    1. thank you very much Paula ! the last one was long waited for the human touch to the scene frame 🙂

    1. Thank you for taking a look. I have a lot to continue through the memories; -)

    1. All the works on Analog page of my blog taken with Hassey and the first purchased with the body lens Planar 80/2.8 and all of them developed at home – i just learned the BW dev process 😉 thank you very much.
